Based on the services provided and the licensing standards set forth by the State of Wyoming, it is much less expensive to stay at an assisted living facility than a nursing home. Rooms are rented by each resident. At Compassionate Journey, there is one person per room, unless there is a desire for two residents to be in the same room. The following payment options are available:

• State of WY Medicaid Community Choice Waiver program

Unfortunately, Medicare does not cover any of the expenses at an assisted living facility. The facility is designed for residents who need assistance with daily living, but have not become dependent on requiring nursing intervention regularly. Our residents have full access to their home health and hospice benefits while they stay at our facility.

The price to stay in our facility breaks down to $100 per day, or $3,000 per month. For that price, a resident's living needs are taken care of, and is supervised by our licensed staff 24-hours per day, based on their communicated needs. Individuals who have qualified for assistance through the Community Choices Waiver are responsible for a portion of their lease not covered by that program.
